Mary Kathleen Kitty Thomas, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother went to be with the Lord on May 13, 2007. Born to Rev. Brice and Bertha Peacock on September 15, 1925 in Saltillo, Texas. Long time resident of Garland, Texas and active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Garland. Graduate of Ferris High School, Class of 42. Survivors include children Jim Thomas and wife Sherra, Kathy Thomas-Welch and husband Steve, Jimmy Thomas and wife Simmone, Larry Thomas and wife Darlene, Brenda Basey and husband Archie, Mark Thomas and wife Leigh. 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 2 nieces, 1 nephew, 1 sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and Myles Evans, and a joyful number of great-nieces and nephews. An open invitation to receive friends will be held at the Williams Funeral Home, 6pm to 8pm, Wednesday, May 16, 2007 with the funeral held at First Presbyterian Church, Garland Texas at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 17, 2007. Interment to be at Restlawn Memorial Park, Hwy 154 So, Sulphur Springs, Texas.
