Wayne Shackelford, born on December 29, 1937, in Pecan Gap, Texas, passed away on February 22, 2025, in Garland, Texas.

Wayne is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Ables Shackelford; his son and daughter-in-law, David and Renah Mashburn; and his daughter and son-in-law, Winona and Johnny Warren. He was a cherished grandfather to John, Stephen, Nicholas, and Alicia and a great-grandfather to Jonathan, Megan, Jaxon, McKenzie, Elias, and Oliver. Wayne also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hurvie and Earle Shackelford; his brothers J.D. Shackelford, Hurvie Shackelford Jr., and Jack Shackelford; and his sister Jerrie Cook.

Wayne's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
