Tomy P. Chacko passed away on February 21, 2024 in Garland, Texas. Tomy will be buried at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Rowlett, Texas. He will have visitation at 10:00 AM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, followed by a Mass at 11:00 AM. The funeral burial services will take place at 12:30 PM at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

A native of Pulinculinoo, Kuttanad, Kerala, Tomy was born on May 25, 1957. He cared so deeply for his family, friends and helping others any chance he had available. He was an active member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society and thrived serving others to glorify God. He was a brilliant man, who loved learning, encouraging those around him and being the glue for his family and friends to keep social circles active. He had a profound impact on those around him, whether it be a phone call, a shoulder to cry on or listen, or words of wisdom that stuck with you forever. His favorite love languages included sharing yields from his gardening green thumb, cooking delicious meals for his loved ones and making sure that those in his life were always well taken care of and provided for at the best capacity.  He will eternally be remembered as the absolute epitome of a family man, who loved his wife and daughter more than anything in this world.

He was preceded in death by his father Chacko Chacko and mother Rosamma Chacko.  Tomy is survived by his wife of 34 wonderful years Clara, and his daughter Christina. Tomy is also survived by his sisters Rosamma and Leelamma, and his brothers James, Joseph and Sunny. Tomy is also survived by many friends that he considered family, overseas in India as well as in the states."
