Tommy Wayne Yarbrough, 83, of Rowlett, TX passed away October 23, 2024.  Tommy passed at his home and was blessed to be surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 1st at 10:30am at Williams Funeral Home in Garland, TX.  Burial will be Saturday, November 2nd at 2pm at Dundee Cemetery in Dundee, TX.

Tommy was born on February 26th, 1941, in Wichita Falls, TX to the late RL Yarbrough and Elizabeth Dykes.  Tommy enjoyed the outdoors and loved hunting, fishing and grilling with his family.   He cherished his time with his seven grandchildren, attending all their sporting events, teaching them about hunting and fishing and making sure they had a good time.  Tommy was also blessed with seven great grandchildren.  Over the years Tommy worked in the oil field, was a supervisor at Crown Zellerbach and started a few of his own businesses including Lawn Doctor and Mother Nature's Recycle where he retired.

Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, brother Sonny Yarbrough, sister Jo Frances  Bachaus and grandson Tyler Matthews.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Carolyn of 61 years, his daughters Stacey and husband Neal, Lana and husband Matt and son Russell and wife Jolene. His grandchildren, Cody Matthews and wife McCall, Blake Braswell and wife Laura, Zachary Braswell and wife Sierra, Luke Braswell, Carson Yarbrough and Avery Yarbrough. Tommy is survived by seven great grandchildren, one sister, Judy Baker and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
