Timothy Raymond
Ondrick
Jun 20, 1966 — Feb 8, 2023
Garland
Timothy Raymond Ondrick of Garland passed away suddenly on February 8, 2023, at
the age of 56. Having chosen a confirmation name of Francis, Timothy commonly went
by the name of Tim, while also being known affectionately as Timmy or Timothy John.
Tim was born in Boston, MA, on June 20, 1966, to his late parents, Stephen Francis
Ondrick, Jr., and Nancy Jane (Minor) Ondrick. After graduating from Weymouth South
High School in Weymouth, MA, in 1984, Tim earned both an Associate in Science
degree in Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information
Systems from Bentley University, Waltham, MA, in 1988.
Shortly after graduation, Tim and some friends from Bentley University embarked on a
POW MIA fundraiser—"Project 10 Speed: Miles for Freedom"—in conjunction with the
Weymouth Lodge of Elks. For 17 days this group bicycled, mostly in the rain, from
Massachusetts to Florida and made lifelong memories along the way. Tim was a
member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks for a number of years and was
an Eagle Scout as well.
Tim had begun the first portion of his Information Technology career while still
studying at Bentley by working for Dynamics Research Corporation in Andover, MA. He
went on to work for Aetna Life & Casualty in CT and MA, and then for Sabre Software,
NorthCorp Realty Advisors, and PageMart, all in Dallas, TX. Afterwards, he worked
another 10 years in Dallas as a Senior Analyst, Systems, for Concentrix (then known as
Intervoice and Intervoice-Brite) before retiring permanently disabled due to epilepsy in
2008. During retirement, Tim explored interests such as stock and options investing,
foreign currency, and prepping. He enjoyed participating in local activities of both the
World Poker Tour and the Dallas Options Trading Club.
In 1985, Tim met the love of his life, the former Susan Ann Doscher. They were married
in Poughkeepsie, NY, on August 19, 1989, and went on to have three children, of whom
Tim could not have been more proud: one son, Alexander (Alex) Ondrick, of Dallas, TX,
and two daughters, Lorelei (Lori) Ondrick and Samantha (Sam) Ondrick, both of
Garland, TX.
Tim was a dear brother to Stephen Ondrick, III, of Marshfield, MA, Margaret (Meg)
Gullotti and her husband, Anthony (Tony), of Harwich, MA, and Gregory (Gregg)
Ondrick and his wife, Kristin, of Weymouth, MA. Additional survivors include parents-
in-law Bruce and Carol Doscher of Brooksville, FL, sister-in-law Laura Doscher and her
partner, Diana May, of Rusk, TX, brother-in-law David Doscher and his wife, Karen, of
Cedar Park, TX, brother-in-law Michael Doscher, Sr., and his wife, Stacey, of
Brooksville, FL, godmother Angela (Angie) Ondrick of Cromwell, CT, godfather Anthony
(Zeke) Zebrowski of Holyoke, MA, godson Dean Doscher, of Austin, TX, and many
additional beloved family members including aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and
nephews.
