Thomas Varughese was born in Ellampally, Kerala, India, on November 13, 1941. He was the eldest son of the late Mr. M.M. Varghese and the late Mrs. Thankamma Varghese. Thomas and his siblings were raised in a God-fearing family.

On May 25, 1972, he married Annamma Varkey (Babyamma) of Vettiyar, Kerala, India. Together, they created a life serving God in Dallas, Texas. They were blessed with four children, Abraham, Anne, Alvin, and Annette (who went on to be with the Lord on April 8, 1989).

Thomas is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Annamma; his children Abraham, Anne and Alvin; eight grandchildren; and his siblings, Mariamma George, Rev. Dr. George Varghese, Sam Varghese, and Jose Varghese, and many nieces and nephews.

Indeed, these are rough times that our families must endure with the passing of Thomas Varughese who was our beloved brother, husband, father, and grandfather. We could not bear the weight of this great loss without your love and prayers. Thank you for continuing to hold us all close to your hearts. May our Lord and Savior abundantly bless you.
