Thomas Ambrose Regnier III of Garland Texas, 78, passed away at 7:29pm on January 13, 2024, at Medical City Plano where he was being treated for an aggressive infectious wound.

Tom proudly served in the U.S. Army from June/1965 to January/1972 when he was medically and honorably discharged as a staff sergeant Co.3 5 th Special Forces Group (Airborne). During that period, he served in the Republic of Vietnam from September/1966 to March/1968.  During his time in Vietnam, he served with the 221st Recon Airplane Company, 13 th Delta Aviation Battalion, 1 st Aviation Brigade.

Tom's passions were enjoying his house, interacting with old and new military friends, his memories of his military career, and his beloved kitties: Lady, Tiger, and Ollie.

He is preceded in death by his father, Dr. Thomas Ambrose Regnier, M.D., his mother, Maxine Nance Regnier, and his younger brother, Michael Nance Regnier.

A celebration of life service will be held at the DFW National cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway in Dallas, on March 5 at 11:00am (central time). The service will also be live streamed at the following link:
