Thelma Jean Mageors, age 88 of Rockwall, Texas, was born April 29, 2934 in Dallas, Texas to Nester Lechons Shelton and Etta Myranda Shelton; and passed away January 13, 2023 in Rockwall, Texas. She is survived by her sister, Mary Luedeker of Woodway, Texas; daughter, Diana Wakefield of Vero Beach, Florida; son, Gregory Wakefield of Texas; grandson, Kenneth Harryson Wakefield Underwood; and granddaughetr, Naomi Alyson Armstrong. She is preceded in death by her parents, Nester and Etta; brothers, John Howard, Billy Rae, Leslie Quin; and sisters, Vera Rovena Quarles and Laura Marie.
Thelma was interred in Garland memorial Park with her husband, Joseph Mageors on January 13, 2023.

Joseph was born December 22, 1932 and passed away September 12, 2008. He was preceded in death by his Father, Elsie Mageors and mother Haughty; Brother: Melvin. Sisters: Lillie Belle and Dorothy.
