Obituary

Sherry Lynn (Young) Reagan was born October 24, 1947 in Dallas, Texas. She passed away and went to be with her Lord on October 9, 2025 at the age of 77.

Sherry attended public schools in Garland, TX and then graduated from Rockwall High School. She attended East Texas State University in Commerce, TX. She lived most of her life in the Dallas area.

Sherry married the love of her life, Ray Reagan, on February 14, 1992. Over 30 years their love grew for each other. They loved South Padre Island, and they were big Texas Longhorn fans.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Reagan; her parents, JW and Mary Young; her brother, Joel Young and wife Cheryl; and her brother in law, David Reagan and wife Janet.

Sherry is survived by her brother, Douglas Young and wife Terri of Ft Worth, TX; her nephews, John Young and wife Katie and their children of Ft Worth, TX; Ryan Young and wife Ashleigh and their children of Portland, OR; Pauli Young of Ft Worth, TX; and her niece, Kalee Young of Ft Worth, TX. She is also survived by Ray's niece, Rhonda Hartley and husband Todd and their children. Sherry also leaves behind her precious very best friend Edie (Barnes) Bennett. She also is survived by many cousins and friends.

Sherry accepted Jesus Christ into her heart when she was a young girl. She wanted everyone to have a relationship with the Lord. For many years she loved serving in a children's church bus ministry. One of her greatest acts of service was when she took care of her ailing mother for many years.

She spent most of her years in sales. For many years she sold Avon, jewelry and other products. She also managed apartments in Dallas.

Sherry's loved ones and friends will always remember her loving smile, outgoing personality, hugs and fun spirit. She will be greatly missed.
