Sandra "Sandy" Ochoa - dedicated wife, mother of two, and friend of many - passed away on October 28, 2022 at the age of 68 in Garland, Texas.

Sandy was born to Tom and Betty Houston in Niagara Falls, New York and eventually settled in Dallas, Texas at a young adult age. She had a long and enjoyable career at Dr Pepper, a career she loved very much. She remained friends with many of her co-workers till her death. She met the love of her life, Arnoldo "Arnold" Ochoa, in 1976. Through the years they would remain friends, seeing each other now and again. Married in May of 1986, Sandy and Arnold welcomed two daughters together, Christina in 1988 and Jacqueline in 1991.

Through the years, Sandy continued her career at Dr Pepper. Sandy was a stranger to no one and found great purpose sharing in the successes, joys, and challenges of those around her. Sandy was authentically and wholeheartedly there for those in her life.

After 35 years Sandy retired from Dr Pepper. To stay busy, she held a couple of low stress jobs outside of the food and beverage industry. Sandy and Arnold enjoyed most evenings and weekends dining out and socializing with their friends. She will truly be missed.

Sandy was preceded in death by her daughter, Christina and sister Beth Turnbull. She is survived by her husband, Arnold, her daughter, Jacqueline and grandson Jordan. Parents Tom and Betty Houston, bother Bob and his wife Pam and their kids.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made in Sandys honor to Hannah House Ministries, P.O. Box 782, Gilmer, TX 75644.

The funeral will be Wednesday, November 2 ^nd at 10:30 am at Williams Funeral Directors, 1600 South Garland Avenue, Garland TX, 75040 followed by burial at Garland Mills Cemetery (same location). A luncheon at the Ochoa's home, 1225 Donegal Lane, Garland.
