Sanda "Rose" Munson, age 33, of Garland Texas, lost her battle with brain cancer on May 4, 2024, but won the victory and is now back in the loving arms of her creator. She was born on January 3, 1991, in Dallas to Jane and Harold Munson.

Rose lived in a group home operated by Berry Family Services for over 15 years, where the wonderful and loving staff took care of her. Rose enjoyed playing with anything that made noises. Rose enjoyed living with her sister Becky and making sure Becky was always doing what she was supposed to.

Rose is survived by her sister Rebecca "Becky" Munson. Rose was predeceased by her parents, Jane and Harold Munson; and brother, William Munson.

Peter 5:10-" and the God of all grace, who called you to his external glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast."

A meeting was held quite far from Earth:
"It's time again for another birth."
Said the Angels to the Lord Above,
"This special child will need much love."

Her progress may seem very slow,
Accomplishments she may not show
And she'll require extra care
From folks she meets way down there.

She may not run or laugh or play
Her thoughts may seem quite far away:
In many ways she isn't adapt
And she'll be known as handicapped.

So let's be careful where she's sent
We want her life to be content.
Please, Lord, find the parents who
Will do a special job for you.

They will not realize right away
The leading role they're asked to play
But with this child sent from above
Comes a stronger faith and richer love.

And soon they'll know the privilege given
In caring for the Gift from Heaven.
Their precious charge,
so meek and mild
Is Heaven's Very Special Child.
