Esquivel

Forney
Salvador Esquivel, affectionately known as Sal, Sal Breezy, passed away on August 3, 2024, in his hometown of Dallas Texas, at the age of 43. Born on November 26, 1980, he was the youngest son of Luz and Linda Esquivel and the loving brother of Jimmy Esquivel.
From a young age, Salvador showed a deep love of sports. He played competitive soccer growing up and continued to stay active as an adult playing softball. That love of sports grew him into being undeniably the most steadfast fan. Everyone who knew Sal knew what a loyal fan he was to his teams. Most days you'd find him sporting his Rangers, Cowboys, Stars, Mavericks, or Longhorn gear.
His passion was being in the company of friends and family. Known entirely for his kind heart, quick wit, and infectious smile, Salvador left a lifelong impact on everyone he befriended. He was known for his ability to light up a room, being the heart and soul of every gathering. He enjoyed life for the simplicity of it. He had this incredible way of making you feel so loved and at ease.
Salvador is survived by his loving parents, Luz and Linda Esquivel, his brother, Jimmy Esquivel, his niece and nephews, Danielle Joseph and Joshua Esquivel, and his Godparents, William and JoAnn Esquivel. He also leaves behind an anchor of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Juanita and Eddy Zamora, and his paternal grandparents, Felipe and Dominga Esquivel.
The viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Williams Funeral Directors 1600 S Garland Avenue, Garland, TX 75040 from 5 pm to 8 pm, with the Rosary at 7 pm. A service in remembrance of Salvador's life will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at 10:30 am at Williams Funeral Directors 1600 S Garland Avenue Garland, TX 75040. Following the service Salvador will be laid to rest at Grove Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Cotton Bowl Foundation in Salvador's memory, a gesture honoring his love for sports and his spirit of giving.
Salvador's legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. His life was a testament to the impact one individual can have on their family and friends. Rest peacefully, sweet Sal. Until we meet again, your memory will forever be an inspiration and joy to all who knew you.
