In Loving Memory of Ruth Christine Dunnavant McGowan

With heavy hearts yet joyful souls, we bid farewell to a beloved mother, step-mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Ruth Christine McGowan. She was a poet at heart and the life of every gathering, bringing light and laughter to those around her.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years Don McGowan. Ruth is survived by her son, R. Stephen Bass and his wife, Rhonda Bass; her three step-sons, Chuck McGowan and his wife, Takako, John McGowan, and James McGowan. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Matthew Bass, Amber Willison, and Cole McGowan, as well as her great-grandchildren, Isabella Willison, Lisette Willison, Rorik Willison, and Declan Bass. She is also survived by her niece and nephew-in-law, Lisa and Rob Burcham, and her nephew, Mark Dunnavant.
