Rosie Bell Thompson was born October 8, 1934 in Corsicana, TX to George Washington Murphy & Mittie Mae (Ferrell) Murphy and passed away July 9, 2024 in Dallas, TX.

Rosie Thompson was an exemplary wife, mother and Christian woman. She loved her family with her whole heart and taught them how to have strength in the Lord's love and grace. Her motto in life could be summed up with Phillipians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Through all the joys and trials in her life she stayed true to that belief. She embodied the best qualities: unending generosity, unwavering faith and unconditional love.

She is survived by her daughters, Tyra Parillo & husband Anthony and Janet Freeman; grandchildren: Arabelle Parillo, Ellora Parillo, Everett Parillo, Josh Freeman & wife Laura, Jake Freeman & wife Jessica, Romney Morrow & wife Jennifer, Tiffany Meseberg & husband Jeremy, AJ Riney & husband Shawn, Coe Bellamy & husband Bryan; great-grandchildren: Joshua James Freeman, George Freeman, Gracie Freeman, Isaac Freeman, Emerson Freeman, Eason Freeman, Fallon Freeman, Jackson Morrow, Abby Meseberg, Luke Meseberg, Charlie Matheson, Bryson Bellamy, Cohen Bellamy; sister, Gayle Holladay & husband Doc. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Charlie Thompson; children: Margarett Dooley, Charlie Ray Thompson & Jill Thompson.

Visitation will be 2:00PM – 4:00PM Sunday, July 14, 2024 at Williams Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be 10:30AM Monday, July 15, 2024 at Williams Memorial Chapel. Interment will immediately follow, at Big Springs Cemetery in Garland.
