He was a Facility Maintenance Mechanic who was known as a "fixit man"by friends and family. He loved his job and all the friends he made there. He also attended school to learn Air Conditioning and Heating, in which he used at Pepsi. Dale's family was always a priority. He and his family attended Wesleyan Bible church for about 30 years, and he was on the Church Board, in the church choir, and was also a soloist. For a few years he joined others in a church band who would perform in the church services playing the guitar. Dale and his wife Mary were very active in the couples' group at church, teaching bible classes, and helped plan activities like banquets, camp outs, fundraisers, and children's activities.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Mary Murphree; children: April Murphree, Anthony Murphree, Melinda England & husband Brady; grandchildren: Lauren Murphree & Easton England; sister, Sandy Huff & husband Kim; nephews: Phillip Huff, Brad Huff, and Chad Huff.
