Obituary

Retha "Nell" Nations Arrington, 92, of Shebina, Missouri went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 9, 2025. Nell was born in Mount Vernon, Texas on July 16, 1932, to Millard and Bertha Nations. Nell lived in Shebina, Missouri for 8 years and was a long-time Garland, Texas resident. First husband, Cloy G. Black of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and second husband Charles A. Arrington of Garland, Texas.

Nell is preceded in death by son, Terry G. Black; brothers, Pascal Nations and Robert Nations; sister, Ida Mae Ball. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra B. Hamilton; granddaughters, Amanda Shuck (Creighton) of Hunnewell, Missouri, and Elizabeth A. Crosson (Landon Frishman) of Ottawa, Kansas; great-granddaughters, Emily Shuck, Nora Shuck, and Joanna Shuck; great-grandson, Waylon Maxwell; sister-in-law Rita Gossett Nations; and many nieces and nephews. Also, a very special friend, Ken Jones and, and many loved ones who have gone on to Glory.

Nell was "one of a kind" to know her, she would be someone you would never forget. She was loved by many and kept you laughing. Momma was a media member of Jimmy Swaggart Ministries and went to several "Camp Meetings." She will be missed, until we see you again - We will be "Loving You Always," Love, your family.
