Regina (Jeannie) Catherine Dalton Farmer age 79 residing in Garland, TX passed away on Nov 19, 2024 with her family by her side, at Baylor Scott, & White Medical Center in Plano, TX. While winning a tough battle with cancer she succumbed to a secondary illness unrelated to the cancer. She lived in Tennessee most of her childhood years then moved to Michigan. After this, she moved back to Nashville, Tennessee then moved to Lavergne where she retired. Jeannie was a devout Catholic and attended in-person church services at St. Luke in Smyrna, TN. After Covid, she attended virtually at St. Philip church in Franklin, TN and loved the Pastor Fr. Ed Steiner. She was planning on attending St. Josephs Catholic Church in Richardson, TX. Jeannie is survived by two daughters, Kiem Densmore, Becki Louden (Perry), three sons Gary Barber (Cindy), Joe Barber (Laura), Perry Barber, ten grandchildren, Darlie, Sara, Matt, Bryan, Jason, Jamie, Hannah, Micah, Alex and Tayler along with several great- grand-children.

She was preceded in death by her siblings Bonnie, Gloria, Beverly, Sister Maureen, and Brian. She also was preceded in death by one son, Tracy Barber, and one grandson, Josh.

She moved to Tennessee in 1984. Jeannie retired from Metro-Davidson County solid waste management. In June of this year, she moved to Garland TX.

Jeannie adored her three dogs, Sugar, Nellie and Sissy. She had a special love for the color Yellow. She liked, watching the News, Grey's Anatomy, The Good Doctor, and Heartland, spending time outside gardening, and enjoyed time spent with her family.

Visitation will be 5:00PM – 7:00PM Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Williams Funeral Directors. Funeral Mass will be 1:30PM Monday, November 25, 2024 at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Richardson. Interment will be 4:00PM Monday, November 25, 2024 at Garland Memorial Park.
