Mr. Raymond Paul Hopkins Jr., age 62, of Garland passed away on Saturday March 16, 2024, in Mansfield. He was born on September 2, 1961, in Dallas to parents Raymond Paul Hopkins Sr. and Edna Marie Hopkins.

Raymond enjoyed reading and studying the Bible while growing closer to the Lord. He loved his family and spending time with all of his grandchildren watching them grow. In his youth he loved working on cars and hunting when he found the time. He loved all things mechanics and cooking, two things he shared with his son. He enjoyed football and all things Longhorns.

He is survived by his son Raymond Paul Hopkins III, daughter Christina Hopkins, 9 grandchildren and great grandchild. He is also survived by two siblings Morris Hopkins and Pam Baggett

He is preceded in death by his wife and best friend Candice Hopkins, and his son Wesley Hopkins. His brother Larry Hopkins and sister Betty Rhodes.
