Raymond Lee Chaffin was born October 7, 1940 in McKinney, Texas and passed away February 4, 2026 in Dallas, Texas. He was a true car enthusiast who loved building and racing hot rods. Above all, he was a devoted family man, holding his title as father, grandfather, and great-grandfather closest to his heart. Raymond is survived by his former wife, Oleta Steele; children, Darrell Chaffin, Denise Wallace; grandchildren: Rachyl Mullins & husband Miles, Travis Henslee & wife Tamara, Jacob Wallace; great-grandchildren: Kai Henslee, Gavin Mullins, Brinlee Mullins, Waylon Goldston, Levi Wallace, Nevaeh Wallace and Kaisen Wallace. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles Chaffin; sister, Louise Brock.

A memorial service will be held 1:00pm Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Williams Memorial Chapel.
