Age 53, of Dallas was born November 24, 1961 to Delton and Callean Allen Davis in Los Angeles, CA went home to be with his Lord and savior May 7, 2015. Family will receive friends from 6:00 - 9:00 PM, Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Williams Funeral Directors with a rosary service being held at 7:00 PM. Funeral mass will follow at 10:00 AM, Friday, May 15, 2015 at St. Piux X Catholic Church in Dallas. Philip was a generous, kind spirit with an infectious smile and an open heart. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend. Philip was born November 24, 1961 in Los Angeles, CA. He was the third child born to Delton and Callean Davis, preceded by brothers Kenneth and Christopher, and succeeded by sister, Lisa and stepsister, Jane. On May 7, 2015 Phil entered the passageway to Eternal Peace. Philip was a brilliant student. He attended St. Anselm Catholic Elementary School in Los Angeles, CA and Junpero Serra High School in Gardena, CA where he excelled in math and science and played soccer. He graduated in 1979 and went on to major in Mathematics and Chemistry at Cal State University, Long Beach. He worked at Hughes Aircraft were he met his lovely wife, Stephanie. The two were united in Holy Matrimony on July 20, 1991. The couple bore two children, one daughter (Danielle) and one son (Cameron). He worked at FedEx for 25 years in Los Angeles, Shreveport, and finally settling in Dallas. He was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and an active member of St. Pius X Men's Club. His mother, Callean Davis and Stepmother, Akiko Davis preceded Philip in death. Mourning his departure yet embracing his everlasting memories, his wife, Stephanie of 24 years; daughter, Danielle, son Cameron, his father, Delton of Inglewood, CA, brothers, Kenneth (Mary) of Inglewood, CA, Christopher of Los Angeles, CA, sisters, Lisa Davis living internationally, and stepsister Jane Octave (Romantle) of Gardena, CA; grandmother, Lucille Ware, of Little Rock, AR; a host of sisters and brothers-in-law, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
