Peggy Jean Southgate

Peggy Jean Southgate was born on October 22, 1945 in Texarkana, Arkansas and passed away January 10, 2023 in Garland, Texas at 77 years old. She was loving, caring, and an incredible wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She will be dearly missed.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Bill Southgate; sister, Wanda Bell; daughters, Sheilena Taylor and Gianna Butman;  daughter at heart, Laura Batson; grandchildren, Sean Talbott and Chelsea Jackson;  great grandchildren, Caden, Summer, Savanna, and Ashton; nephews, Jason Preisman & Craig Preisman; and numerous cousins, extended family and friends. She was preceded in passing by her mother, Margaret Phillips; father, Lawson Phillips; and grandsons, Trey Fairless and Matthew Butman.

Services will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Williams Funeral Directors.
