Pat passed away peacefully on August 14 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 84. Born to Lester and Helen Arnold on St Patrick’s Day 1942, Pat was raised in Lubbock, Hobbs and Big Spring.

 Pat graduated in 1960 from Big Spring High School and in 1962 from Jessie Lee’s Beauty School in Lubbock. Pat was a well know hair stylist in Big Spring for 14 years owning The La Contessa Salon. In 1978 she moved to Midland, Texas and embarked on a second career in the oil & gas accounting field. She remained in the accounting field for the balance of her working life.She met her husband Barry Wilson in Midland and they were married in Dallas on August 10, 1985. After leaving Midland, Pat and Barry had the opportunity to live in many beautiful places within the continental United States and in the Pacific. From Texas to Guam to Hawaii to California to Florida and eventually back to Texas. Pat found true joy in traveling and experiencing many places. Their time in Guam allowed her to explore many parts of the South Pacific and Far East including Bali, Fiji, and Japan. Pat and Barry also loved a good cruise and had the opportunity to cruise all over the world from the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, South America, crossing the Atlantic and the Panama Canal.Pat had a creative passion. She was a great visionary and artist. Whether embroidery, cross stitching, designing jewelry, graphite and charcoal drawing, painting or watercolor she always had several projects in the works at any one time.

Pat is survived by her husband Barry Wilson of 41 years, her brother Stephen (Janet) of San Antonio, niece Leslie Donnelly (Miles) of San Antonio, nephew William (Kelsey) of Dallas, great niece Francis and great nephew Hodges of San Antonio, great nephew Everett of Dallas, and many friends and extended family. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her son Scott Moore, and her brother Michael Arnold.

Celebration of Life is September 10th at 5:00 PM at Kearney’s Feed Yard where Pat loved to dance and listen to good music with many of the Kearney regulars.
