Obituary

Patricia Ann (Turner) Collier, 89, of Lewisville, Texas, passed away on July 3, 2023.
Pat was born on March 5, 1934, to Earl and Frances Turner in Scurry, Texas and grew up in
Mesquite, Texas. Pat married Charles Collier in 1951 and had 52 years together. She met Kenny
Seratt in 2011 at the Wylie Opry and they spent the next 4 years enjoying their time in Texas
and Montana. While her children were young, she was a stay-at-home mom and later went to
work in the insurance industry where she met her best friend, Mary Carleson. Pat was an
accomplished seamstress and enjoyed making wedding dresses and home décor items.
Gardening was also a favorite pastime. She was the host of family gatherings and took great
pleasure in decorating for the holidays. One of her favorite things to do was researching family
history.
Pat had many fun times with her friends in the Red Hat Society. She was also a member of the
Daughters of the American Revolution.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Collier, and second husband, Kenny Seratt;
brothers, James Turner, Moxie Turner, Ben Turner, Earl Turner, John Turner; sisters, Priscilla
Gaddis and Sandra Rice. Also preceding her in death were her daughter-in-law, Alice Collier and
son-in-law, Denny Phillips.
Pat is survived by her children, Terri Phillips, Chuck Collier, Lisa Foster (Mark), and Denise
Odorizzi (Bob); her grandchildren, Ryan Rolison (Rae), Charles Collier (Brittany), Clint Collier
(Amal), Catie Collier, Elizabeth Foster, Matthew Foster (Anna), Tara Odorizzi and Brett Odorizzi;
and ten great-grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings, B. F. Turner (Nancy) and Syble
Neely and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held on July 28, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, 4600
North Beltline Road, Sunnyvale, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the
National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
