Oleta Teel was born June 20, 1929 in Rowlett, TX to Jesse Boyd Crawford & Bertha Lee (Phy) Crawford and passed away August 25, 2023 in Garland, TX. Oleta retired from Resistol Hat Factory after working 45 years. She had a big heart for animals and had many beloved pets in her lifetime. There was no greater love than the love she had for her family. Oleta definitely was one of a kind, and will truly be missed by her loving family and friends. She is survived by her two stepdaughters, Sandra Langbein & husband Carl and Dorothy Priddy & husband Troy; nieces & nephews: David Schafer, Debbie West, Pam White, and Paul Crawford; and brother-in-law, James West. Oleta was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 56 years, James Teel; siblings: Millard Crawford, Wilma Holley, and Joyce West. Funeral service will be 10:30AM Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at Williams Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral. Interment will immediately follow funeral at Restland Memorial Park.
