Norma Lou (Miller) Wilhite was born on May 19, 1931 to Maymie and Bud Miller of Sulphur Springs, Texas. She was their only child, a much loved and pure delight to her parents. She spent her childhood in Sulphur Springs, surrounded by her cousins and friends. She married Dennis Wilhite on September 6, 1947. They celebrated 73 years together, prior to his death in 2020.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her sons and their wives, Larry and Brenda Wilhite, Bill and Darlene Wilhite and Mike and Judy Wilhite. She was blessed with 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Norma and Dennis spent their adult lives in Garland, Texas where they enjoyed special friendships that lasted a lifetime. She was a faithful member of Saturn Road Church of Christ, where they were charter members. She was a daily Bible reader, a prayer warrior and someone that never forgot a name or face. She loved having conversations and learning about what was going on in their lives and with their families.

She was loved deeply and will be missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will be 2:00PM – 4:00PM Sunday, November 10, 2024 at Williams Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be 10:00AM Monday, November 11, 2024 at Williams Memorial Chapel. Interment will be 1:30PM Monday, November, 2024 at Old Tarrant Cemetery in Sulphur Springs, Texas.
