Norma Yvonne Allen passed to Jesus on Thursday, November 6, 2025. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas on June 17, 1935, and adopted by Norman and Frances Currey at about 6 months of age. She married M.C. Allen, the love of her life, on March 16, 1954, at the young age of 18 before M. C. left for the Navy. They resided in Garland, Texas where they raised 4 beautiful children. Norma worked in the school cafeteria and was a crossing guard for the Garland Independent School District. Norma loved the Lord and lived a full and blessed life, devoted to her faith, her family, and the simple joys that brought her peace.
Norma will be deeply missed by her family. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her loving husband, M.C. Allen, 3 of their 4 children, Max Allen, Teresa Kreyer, and Rick Allen, and her grandson, Chad Allen. She leaves behind her daughter, Shella Whitten, and a son-in-law Tim Kreyer as well as grandchildren Miranda Simpson and her husband Michael, Jennifer Allen, Marcus Allen, Nathan Kreyer, Dustin Whitten and his wife Bianca, Dakota Whitten, April Campbell and her husband Byron, Josh Allen, and Alexis Allen, as well as great grandchildren Michael Simpson, Alton Simpson, Lucas Simpson, Collin Simpson, Antonio DeLeon, Clarissa Whitten, Destiny Whitten, Aiden Whitten, Aliana Whitten, Bradley Campbell, Grace Campbell, Zoey Allen, and Tatum Queen.
Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace, reunited with loved ones who have gone on before her and resting safely in the arms of her Savior.
The visitation will be held at William Funeral Home in Garland, Tx on Friday November 14, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. 1600 S Garland Ave, Garland, TX 75040
A graveside service will take place at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Sunnyvale, Tx on Saturday November 15, 2025, at 10:00 am. 4600 N Beltline Road, Sunnyvale, TX 75182
