Nita Kaye Lamb, born on November 4, 1945, in Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2024. Nita was a beloved sister, aunt, and friend who touched the lives of many with her kindness and warmth.

Nita dedicated many years of her life to working for the phone company before transitioning to a fulfilling career with the Garland Independent School District. Her dedication and hard work were evident in everything she did.

Though Nita did not have children of her own, she was a loving and nurturing presence in the lives of her niece and nephew, Sammi and Damon, who early in their lives considered her a second mom. Her love and guidance will be deeply missed by them and all who knew her.

Nita is survived by her brothers, Byron Nichols and Randy Nichols, and her sister, Karen Farmer. She will also be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews, who cherished her dearly.

Nita's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be remembered for her spirited laugh, her unwavering support, and the joy she brought into the lives of her family and friends.

A graveside memorial service will be held to honor Nita's life and legacy.

Rest in peace, Nita. You will be forever missed and always remembered.
