Obituary

On March 24, 2024, Marta Delgado Alayon peacefully transitioned to eternity, leaving behind a legacy of love and resilience. Born in Havana, Cuba, on December 3, 1939, she embarked on a courageous journey to America in 1961, alongside her beloved husband, Juan, and their two daughters, Maria and Isa.

Marta Delgado Alayon dedicated 20 years of her life to Sears Co., where she served as a Customer Service Representative. Her commitment to her work mirrored her commitment to her family. She reveled in the simple joys of life: dancing with Juan, taking cruises, and trying her luck at the casino.

But above all, Marta Delgado Alayon was a matriarch—a beacon of strength during challenging times. Her love and care for her family knew no bounds. She will forever be cherished and missed by all who knew her. We love you, Mima.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Maria & Tim Medlock; Daughter and son-in-law, Isa & Jorge Arce; Grandchildren Mary Jimenez, Melissa Arce Cole, & Jorge Arce Jr. She also had many beautiful great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her Grandson, Duane Walser; Husband, Juan Alayon; Granddaughter, Venessa Walser; Sister Tia Ampa Cruz.
