In Loving Memory

Mario Arnoldo Quintana was born on October 20, 1947 in Guatemala City, Guatemala to Salvador Quintana and Carmen Grajeda and passed away on June 18, 2023 in Richardson, TX, at the age of 75.

Mario was a proud father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his nine children, Erick, Paul, Mario, Damarys, Juan Carlos, Leslie, Dulce, Christian and Crystal; his 21 grandchildren, Giovanni, Alexis, Jarvis, Mia, Sebastian, Samuel, Samara, Sabella, Kenny, Steven, Karen, Nimcy, Darla, Naylea, Narelie, Caleb, Leslie, Pablo, Jeremy, Kevin, Connor, Beckham; great grandchildren: Ava, Anthony, Jarvis Jr., Navhi; siblings: Hugo, Abimael, Agna, Rocael, David, Moises, Giovanni, Mayra, Angelica, Sonia, Humberto, Juan, Jorge, Luis and numerous other family members.

Through his passing, he is reunited with his parents, great grandson, Giovanni Jr., his beloved cousin, Byron and sister, Isabel.

Mario was known for his fun-loving personality, his love for his children, his jokes and his passion for music. He enjoyed playing various percussion instruments, the bass and the guitar. He always worked hard to provide for his family; most recently he was employed as a security guard at the Meyerson Symphony Center.

Mario will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His family would like to thank the staff at San Remo Skilled Nursing Home for their compassionate care during his final days.

Visitation will be held at Williams Funeral Directors from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 22, 2023. The memorial service, will be immediately following the viewing, at 1:00 pm at Williams Memorial Chapel.

Mario Arnoldo Quintana nació el 20 de Octubre de 1947 en la ciudad de Guatemala, Guatemala. Fue hijo de Salvador Quintana y Carmen Grajeda y falleció el 18 de Junio de 2023 en Richardson, TX, a la edad de 75 años.

Mario fue un orgulloso padre, abuelo y bisabuelo. Le sobreviven sus nueve hijos, Erick, Paul, Mario, Damarys, Juan Carlos, Leslie, Dulce, Christian y Crystal; sus 21 nietos, Giovanni, Alexis, Jarvis, Mia, Sebastián, Samuel, Samara, Sabella, Kenny, Steven, Karen, Nimcy, Darla, Naylea, Narelie, Caleb, Leslie, Pablo, Jeremy, Kevin, Connor, Beckham; bisnietos: Ava, Anthony, Jarvis Jr. y Nahvi; hermanos: Hugo, Abimael, Agna, Rocael, David, Moisés, Giovanni, Mayra, Angélica, Sonia, Humberto, Juan, Jorge, Luis y muchos otros miembros de la familia.

A través de su fallecimiento, se reencuentra con sus padres, su bisnieto, Giovanni Jr., su amado primo, Byron y su hermana, Isabel.

Mario era conocido por su personalidad divertida, el amor por sus hijos, sus bromas y su pasión por la música. Le gustaba tocar la batería, las congas, el bajo y la guitarra. Siempre trabajó duro para mantener a su familia; más recientemente fue empleado como guardia de seguridad en el Centro Sinfónico Meyerson.

Mario será profundamente extrañado por todos los que lo conocieron. Su familia quisiera agradecer al personal de San Remo Skilled Nursing Home por su cuidado durante sus últimos días.

El velorio se llevará a cabo en Williams Funeral Directors de 10:00 a. m. a 1:00 p. m. el Jueves 22 de Junio de 2023. El servicio conmemorativo será inmediatamente después del velorio, a la 1:00 p. m. en Williams Memorial Chapel.
