Luisa Villalobos, lovingly known as “Lulu,” peacefully passed away on October 31, 2026, at the age of 38, surrounded by so many people who truly loved her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Ivonne Santillan and Alejandro Villalobos.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 17 years, Aaron Montanez; her son, Aaron Isaiah Montanez, lovingly known as “Jr.”; her mother-in-law, Rosa Montanez; her father-in-law, Jose Montanez; her sister-in-law, Vivian Montanez, and her husband, Julian; her brother, Jose Villalobos; her cousins, Rene Diaz, Monica Contreras, and Victoria “Polla” Contreras, and her husband, Ivan; her aunt, Carmen “Chayo” Santillan; her beloved nieces and nephews, Alex, Sergio, Christian, Jose Jr., Ivonne, Evelin, Emilia, David, Raymond, Jack, Adan, Abraham, and Jayden; and her precious fur baby, Miley.

How do you describe someone so unique and special in just a few words?

Lulu was once asked to write down who she was. Her response began with a simple question: “Who am I?” She went on to describe herself as a wife, stepmother, employer friend, helper to anyone in need, translator, woman of God, family member, and, above all, a giving person.

Those words only begin to capture the woman she was.

Lulu was a pure-hearted woman whose smile could light up any room and whose presence could warm any heart. She had a beautiful way of making people feel welcomed, loved, and cared for. Whether through a helping hand, a kind word, or simply being there when someone needed her, she gave so much of herself to others.

She shared 17 beautiful years of marriage with her husband, Aaron Montanez, who loved and cared for her unconditionally. She moved from Lewisville, Texas, to Garland to begin building a life and a home together. Their years together were filled with love, memories, and a bond that will forever remain.

Together, Luisa and Aaron raised their son, Aaron Isaiah Montanez, in Garland. The bond they shared was undeniably beautiful. She poured her heart into raising him, teaching him to be respectful, kind, and loving. Her love, guidance, and the values she instilled in him will live on through him forever.

Lulu also created countless beautiful memories with the many friends who were blessed to know her, including Lizeth, Gracie, Brenda, Lucy, Maria, Rubi, Ortencia, Yesenia, Amy, Sarah, Dayra, Lupita, Sherry, and Abigail, just to name a few. Her friendship, laughter, generosity, and loving spirit touched so many lives.

Words will never be enough to describe what Lulu meant to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a blessing in our lives, and it was both an honor and a privilege to share in her journey.

She will forever be loved, deeply missed, and remembered by so many.
