Lorena P. Palmer was born in Roswell, New Mexico on May 18, 1929.  She attended Roswell High School and worked at the former Walker Air Force Base until it closed in 1967.  She transferred to White Sands Missile Range where she retired after 31 and half years on April 3, 1993.  A long time El Paso, Texas resident before moving to Garland, TX where she passed on March 29, 2025.  She is preceded in death by two brothers, Elvis Brown of Uvalde, TX. and Frank R. Brown of Itasca, IL.  She is survived by her son, Terry Palmer and wife Diana of Garland, Texas.  She also has two grandchildren, Kristen Judy (husband Ben) of Wylie, Texas and Chad Palmer of Plano, Texas.  She was blessed with two great grandchildren, Ashley Judy and Emily Judy.  Lorena will be buried in Roswell, New Mexico at South Park Cemetery with her father Stanley Brown and mother, Vera Brown along with her brother, Elvis Brown.
