Lisa Michele Peterson (Crabtree), aged 56, passed away on August 20, 2024, in Garland, Texas, born on May 14, 1968, in Garland, Texas. She spent almost her entire life in Mesquite, Texas. She was the cherished daughter of Linda S. and N. Wayne Crabtree. Lisa graduated from North Mesquite High School and later attended Eastfield College, where she furthered her education.

A beacon of kindness and generosity, Lisa was known for her selflessness and loving nature. She was deeply involved in her community, often seen helping her son's football team by providing meals or safe rides home. Her caring spirit extended beyond her immediate circle, touching the lives of many around her.

Lisa found joy in her hobbies, which included painting, hiking, playing games, and taking long walks. She had a fondness for classic television shows like "I Love Lucy' and "Adam 12," which brought much laughter into her life. Lisa was also a devoted member of several local Baptist churches, including Casa View Baptist Church, Orchard Hills Baptist Church, and Beltline Missionary Baptist Church, where she participated in community and spiritual activities.

Lisa leaves behind her loving husband, Karl D. Peterson Jr., and their son, Joshua T. Peterson. She is also survived by her brother, Scott Crabtree and his wife Kristie; uncle, Gary Crabtree and his wife Brenda; brother-in-law, Doug Peterson and wife Lisa; Sisters-in-law, Ava Rurak; Karlene Roberts and her husband Danny, along with many cousins, nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, Linda S. and N. Wayne Crabtree, her grandparents, and her in-laws, Janice Peterson and Karl D. Peterson Sr.

Lisa's life was a testament to her love for others, and her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
