Sams, Linda Sue (Whitington)

Age 78, of Garland, TX was born November 19, 1943 to Vince and Maudie Whitington in Hughes Springs, Texas.  She was married to Tuffy Morrison Sams and is survived by her daughter, Lisa Michelle born in 1966.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

She graduated high school in 1962, attended Kilgore Junior College, graduated from East Texas State College in Commerce with a degree in elementary education.

After graduating, she taught at numerous schools over a 40 year span, most recently at McWhorter Elementary School in Mesquite.  During her retirement, she traveled and focused her time on caring for her loving daughter Lisa, and spending time with her family and friends.
