Larry Davidson, 78, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2026. He was born on August 5, 1947, and spent most of his life in the Dallas, Texas area, where he built a life.
Larry proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War era. His military service was a source of pride throughout his life and reflected the dedication and integrity that defined his character.
Following his military service, Larry built a distinguished career in real estate spanning more than five decades. He served as Broker/Owner of RE/MAX New Horizon and later Larry Davidson Realty. He was consistently recognized as one of RE/MAX's top-producing agents, earning Top 20 honors in the State of Texas for nine years. During his remarkable career, he was honored with numerous industry awards, including the RE/MAX Platinum Club Award, RE/MAX Hall of Fame.
Above all else, Larry loved his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Adeena Davidson; his son, Brandon Davidson, and daughter-in-law, Shannan Davidson; his granddaughters, Mackenzie Starkey, Alex, and family; Madison Armstrong, Chresten, and family; Morgan and Ben Karikari; and Malorie and Jacob Schickedanz. He was also blessed with five great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him great joy.
Larry was preceded in death by his beloved son, Bryan Davidson.
Larry will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, veteran, broker, mentor, and friend. He was hardworking, determined, strong-willed, and never afraid of a challenge. Larry believed in perseverance and grit. He took pride in providing for his family and built a life through hard work, resilience, and unwavering determination. He lived life to the fullest and found his own rhythm in life. More than anything, Larry loved his family, and his legacy will live on through the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren he loved so deeply.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Garland, Texas.
The family is deeply grateful for the love, prayers, and support shown during this difficult time.
