Kevin Dwayne Recer

July 3, 1964 - August 30, 2026

Kevin Dwayne Recer, of Garland, TX, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, August 30, 2026 at the age of 62.

Kevin will be remembered for the life he shared with his family and the people who loved him. His memory will live on through the many lives he touched and the family he leaves behind.

Kevin is survived by his longtime partner, Tami Kirby; his sons, Matthew Recer and Justin Recer; his daughters, Brittany Recer and Sidney Recer; his stepsons, Cameron Kirby and Kennedy Kirby; his sister, Beverly Thompson, and her husband, Tommy Thompson; and three step brothers. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren, six nieces, and two nephews, who will carry his memory in their hearts.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Billy Ray Recer; his mother, Linda Gail Perry; his stepfather, Jerry Perry; his sister, Lisa Recer Anderson; and his brother, Brian Recer.

Kevin's life was a part of a family story that will continue through his children, stepchildren, grandchildren, sister, brother-in-law, stepbrothers, nieces, nephews, and all those who loved him. Though he is no longer here, the memories he created and the love he gave will remain.

His family finds comfort in knowing that Kevin passed peacefully at home and is now at rest, reunited with the loved ones who preceded him.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
