Kerry Dee Cain was born November 14, 1959, in Dallas, TX to Teddy Dee Cain & Jimmie Francis Noblett Cain and passed away June 29, 2023, in Dallas, TX.

Kerry grew up in South Oak Cliff and later moved to Mesquite TX, where he graduated from Mesquite High School in 1978.  Kerry graduated from the Police Academy in December of 1982 and began his 25 year career with the City of Richardson.  After he retired from RPD he went to work for Dallas County in the Felony Family Violence division.  He was dedicated to helping victims of domestic violence.  Kerry was a Gentle Giant and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Gloria Cain; daughters, Kayla Cain & Lauren Cain; sister, Vicki Cain; nieces & nephews: Shannon Yocum, Shelby Moss & husband Brandon, Stephen Yocum, Kristina Wright; great-nieces & nephews: Will Moss, Reese Moss, Caitlyn Yocum, Jordan Yocum; mother-in-law, Lynn Ball and numerous other family members. Kerry was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Rita Yocum & husband Johnny; nephew, Justin Valle; father-in-law, Joseph Ball.

Visitation will be 6:00PM – 8:00PM Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Williams Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be 10:30AM Friday, July 7, 2023, at Williams Memorial Chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Garland Memorial Park.
