Karen Denice Marlar, 73, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026, in Garland, Texas.

She was born in 1952 in Dallas, Texas, to Elliott and Dorothy Ingram. Karen enjoyed a full and active life, with a love for sewing, genealogy, and time spent with family and friends.

Karen married Larry Marlar on June 1, 1973, and together they shared 53 years of marriage while raising their two daughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elliott and Dorothy Ingram, and her brother, Lester Lynn Ingram.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Marlar; daughters, Becky Blanton and husband James, and LeighAnn Noll and husband Shaun; brother, Bill Ingram and wife Carol; grandchildren, Mikalah Vrzak, Michael Vrzak, Trinity Blanton, Maisyn Blanton, and McKinlee Noll; great-grandchild, Brantley Vrzak; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
