Julie Self, 63 of Rowlett, TX went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. She was born in Dallas, TX to Advon Deward and Annie Laurie Bates. She is survived by her husband, Billy Self of Rowlett, daughter Jennifer Carter and husband Nathan of Anna, TX, Grandchildren Caitlyn Webster, Faith Webster, and Kylee Carter. She is also survived by her brother Mark Bates and wife Sherry of Prosper, TX, Sandra Lee of Rowlett, TX.

Julie loved everyone that came into her life. She made many lifelong friends during her time at Ribelin, now Azelis. She loved spending time with her granddaughters, gardening, and enjoying coffee.

Julie loved her husband, Billy, who she was married to for 43 years. They enjoyed living life together, and they were each other's world. She loved her family, friends, her dogs Sniffles and Snickers, and her granddogs Chloe, Sammie, Frank and Tank.

Funeral service will be 10:30 AM Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Williams Memorial Chapel with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will be at 1:30PM at Emory City Cemetery in Emory, Texas.
