Julie Gail Mansell, surrounded by her family, quietly took her last breath on Thursday, March 2, 2023.

Julie was born in Dallas, Texas on July 13, 1965, the third of five children of Milton and Sue Mathews.  Julie is preceded in death by her father, Milton Mathews.  Julie is survived by her beloved husband, Drew Bradley Mansell, their son, Cole Vincent Mansell and his wife, Juliana Barbatto Mansell, and their youngest son, Quint Anthony Mansell.  Julie also is survived by her adored granddaughter, Natalia Allison Mansell, who affectionately called Julie, "Nana".  Julie is survived by her mother, Sue Mathews, brother, Jay Mathews and his wife, Dede Mathews, and brother, Jeff Mathews, and sister, Jaynie Alley and her husband, Jason Alley, and youngest sister, Jennifer Mathews, as well as Drew's sister Shanda Sherrill and her husband, Andy Sherrill, and Drew's brother, Mark Mansell, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Julie Gail met Drew Bradley when she was just 16 years old in September 1981, and fell head over heels in love with him.  Drew and Julie were married on September 10, 1983.  They were not only husband and wife, proud parents to their sons, and granddaughter but, they were truly best friends.

Julie loved acronyms, among her favorite, because of her concern for wrinkles, was 'AWD' or Anti-Wrinkle Device, AKA, sunglasses, she'd put them on like she was a superhero, and say "AWDs, activated!"  She was also the "Cool One" and Drew's "Pal".

Julie was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on September 29, 1979.  Her faith was so important to her, she instilled in her sons' the importance of having a personal relationship with Jehovah God as she has.  She also actively shared with others Jehovah's plan for mankind's future.
