Judy Delores Long 68, of Garland, Texas passed away unexpectedly September 26th, 2025.

Judy was born June 10th,1957 to Thomas and Dorothy Law. Judy was one of six children. She grew up in Mesquite, Texas and graduated from North Mesquite High School.

After graduation she went on to marry Lance Carter and together they were blessed with a son, Jason Carter. She later married Thomas "Tommy" Long and together they welcomed a son Jeff Long, completing her family. Judy and Tommy shared a loving 39 year marriage filled with laughter and cherished memories.

While her children were young, she was a devoted stay-at-home mother. . As her children grew up she began a career in banking, where she truly flourished. She loved her customers, built lasting relationships, and continued to work in the field she enjoyed so much.

One of Judy's greatest joys in life was her grandchildren. She rarely missed a chance to be in the stands cheering them on at their games and activities. When she wasn't at a field watching them play sports, she loved spending her time sewing and crafting, hobbies that brought her both relaxation and pride.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Dorothy Law and her 5 siblings and loving husband Thomas Long.

Judy is survived by her son Jason Carter and wife Michelle of Wylie, Tx, her son Jeff Long and wife Amy of Mesquite, Tx. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Jaleigh and Jace Carter, Peyton Pruitt, Kolby and Kaden Long as well as  2 great grandchildren. Judy is also survived by her nephew, Ben Law,  and wife Emily along with many other nieces and nephews.
