Judith Kay Hutchison Boris Williams

June 6, 1944 – May 8, 2026

Judith Kay Hutchison Boris Williams passed away on May 8, 2026, after a long battle with breast cancer.

Judy was born on June 6, 1944, in Newton, Kansas. Her father, Joseph "Joe" Hutchison, served in the Navy while her mother, Norma Balding, worked for Beechcraft supporting the war effort. The family later moved to Wichita, Kansas, where her siblings, Larry Chalmers and Janet Louise, were born.

Judy graduated from East High School and later attended Wichita Business College. She became a mother to Tammy in 1962 and Paul in 1964.

In 1965, Judy met Bernard "Bernie" Boris in Wichita, Kansas. They married and moved to Dallas, Texas, to begin their new life together. Judy began a successful career as a legal secretary while Bernie worked in the food service industry in both restaurants and catering. Soon after moving to Dallas, Bernie lovingly adopted Tammy. Their family continued to grow with the births of Troy in 1966, Tricia in 1972, and Travis in 1975.

Judy retired in 2009 to spend more time with her family. She loved to travel and visited Europe, Kenya, and many states across the country, including multiple trips to Hawaii. No matter where her travels took her, her favorite place to gather with family and make memories was always Las Vegas.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph C. Hutchison and Norma L. Balding; her brother, Larry Hutchison; her sister, Janet Hutchison; her husbands, Bernard Boris and Thurman Williams; and her son, Paul Martens.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Hardin and husband Chris; Tammy's sons, Seth Stokes and fiancée Kaylyn Covington and their daughter Kyra, and Ian Stokes and fiancée Stachia Danelle.

She is also survived by her son, Troy Boris and wife Jeannie, along with their children Christopher and his son Cole, and Arianna and her son Cobie.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Tricia Boris and Derlene, along with Derlene's daughters Amber Edwards and Toni Duckworth and their children and grandchildren.

She is further survived by her son, Travis Boris and wife Melissa, son TJ, and daughters Taylor and daughter Saint Ivy, Makayla and her son D'sysus.

Judy will be laid to rest at Garland-Mills Cemetery in Garland, Texas.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
