Jovani Guerrero

Jovani Alexander Guerrero passed away suddenly of natural causes on December 24, 2022. He was 17 years old.

Jovani was a loving, caring young man who greatly loved and was loved by his family. He always made the effort to offer a hug to anyone who might need it. He also had a sense of humor that could lift anyone's spirits.

Jovani was a gifted musician. He loved playing his viola and could pick up any instrument and play a tune. He was in the Honors Orchestra during his short time at Garland High School. He also was gifted at math and science and looked forward to becoming a pilot someday.

Jovani is survived by his mother, Jennifer Guerrero, his stepfather, Gareth Evans, his grandmother, Helda Bareño, his grandfather, Jose Guerrero, his uncle, Brian Guerrero, and a multitude of great aunts and cousins who will miss him dearly. He was truly at the center of his family's home.

Jovani's viewing will be Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 5-7 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Garland. His service will be at Good Shepherd Catholic Church on Friday, December 30th at 3 PM.
