Jova (Joyce) Guajardo Mendez met her Heavenly Father on June 19th surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and extended family.

Joyce was born February 14, 1939 in Harlingen, Texas to Juan and Rosa Guajardo.  Joyce moved to Mckinney, Texas over 40 years ago where she raised her five children.  Preceded in death is her beloved son Eddie. Survived by Frank Jr., Daniel (Danny), Sylvia, Esteban (Steve). Joyce had 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Joyce was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She doted on her family and was happiest when her large family surrounded her. She loved to cook and made sure everyone was well fed.  She was happy to share her love for God with everyone to give them hope so they too can receive their blessings beyond measure.
