Jerry grew up in a coal mining town in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia. After graduating Oak

his passing. He was very dedicated to researching, creating and publishing several booklets honoring his
hometown and High School. He devoted much of his time toward class reunions.
He married Nadine (Nickii) Lilly in 1950 and had four children, Bea, Theresa, Bo and Jay. Later divorced,
he then married his 2nd wife, Ann Biggs. She had two daughters, Dana and Sharon.
He was a veteran of the Korean War and served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army where he received
several commendations. Once out of the military, he studied design engineering and later helped design
rocket parts at Cape Canaveral, Florida during the early stages of the Space Program. He moved his
family to Texas where he had a successful career with Raytheon. As a member of the Dallas Craft Guild,
