JEAN BRAGA

Jean Braga died on September 22, 2025, at the age of 98.  Born in England (UK), she was the youngest of four children.  At the end of World War II, Jean met and married her husband, Douglas, who had served during the war in the British Army.  Seven years later, they immigrated to the United States, along with their infant daughter, Linda.  They spent 22 years in Upstate New York, before moving to Texas, where they lived for the next four decades.

In addition to being a dedicated homemaker and talented artist, Jean was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend, who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Douglas, as well as her three older sisters.  Jean is survived by her only child, Linda Braga, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Jean's ashes will be inurned and laid to rest in the St. John Mausoleum and Columbarium at Calvary Hill Cemetery, Dallas, Texas.
