Obituary

Janette Kay Woody was born on August 24,1942 in Dallas, Texas to Hal and Vivian Douglas of Fort Worth.  Janette was raised in Fort Worth, Texas and graduated from Polly High School.  Janette married George Woody of Bakersfield California in March of 1960 while he was serving in the Army.  Janette had a passion for numbers and worked in banking for over 20 years.  Janette enjoyed music, crafts, and making Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner for her family every year where her dressing was always the star of the show.  Didn't get enough?  Don't worry, she would make everyone their own individual pans to go.

Janette is proceeded in death by her husband George Woody, the favorite son-in-law David Grubbs, son Ross Wood, father Hal Douglas, mother Vivian Douglas, sister Marion Briar, and brother-in-law Allen Briar.

Janette is survived by her daughter Tina Grubbs of Crandall, her son Daniel Hal Woody and wife Jamie of Azle, honorary daughter Terrie Tompkins (niece), twin sister Annette Stewart, 9 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

On behalf of the family, we would like to thank everyone for their constant support.
