In Loving Memory of Janice Yvonne Perez

It is with deep sadness and profound love that we announce the passing of Janice Yvonne Perez, who passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026, at the age of 88.

Born on June 16, 1938, in Waynesboro, Virginia, Yvonne lived a life defined by love, kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion to family. Whether through quiet acts of generosity, words of encouragement, or simply being present for those she loved, Yvonne touched countless lives and leaves behind a legacy of compassion and grace.

Yvonne is lovingly survived by her children Janice Longino, Vicki Stearman and husband Ron Stearman, Garth Perez and wife Terrie Perez; grandchildren Julie Pierotti and husband Tony Pierotti, Jared Longino, Blake Stearman and wife Candice Stearman, Jonah Longino, Seth Perez and wife Samantha Perez, Jacob Longino, Shea Perez and Shelby Stearman. Along with many great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her father, Oliver Guinn Carroll, mother, Sadie Bell Carroll, husband, Gilbert Perez, brother, Daniel Carroll and grandson, Joshua Longino.

A celebration of life service will be held on August 8, 2026, at 1:00 pm at the Chapel in Williams Funeral Home, Garland, Texas. Family and friends are invited to gather in celebration of a life well lived and deeply loved, immediately following the service, in Williams Bluebonnet Hall from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
