Jamie Christine
Longoria
Mar 5, 1984 — Sep 5, 2025
Garland
Jamie Christine Longoria, 41, entered into the arms of our Lord and Savior the morning of
Friday, September 5th, 2025. She is survived by her loving family: her siblings — Erica Reyna,
David Reyna (her "most handsome favorite brother-in-law"), Christopher Dyer, Jessica Dyer
(her sister-in-law), Armando Longoria, Francisco Camacho Jr., and Adan Camacho; the only
father she ever knew, Francisco Camacho Sr.; and her cherished nieces and nephews —
Andrew, Ellysa, Sarah, Isaac, Adallia, Elena, Serena, David Jr., Jeremiah, and Elliana. She was
preceded in death by her beloved mother, Maria L Camacho.
Like her mother, she was the 3rd eldest in her family. Jamie was born in Corpus Christi, grew up
in Garland, TX, and attended Centennial High School. As a child, she enjoyed traveling between
Dallas and Corpus with her family, especially during the holidays, where time at the beach was
a treasured part of her childhood. As she grew older, her love for playing at the beach
transitioned into playing lotteria and bingo with her family and friends.
Jamie's passion and gift was baking cakes and desserts for her loved ones, a gift she
generously shared for birthdays and holidays. Another gift of hers was her ability to comfort
others with her healing hands, and you were almost guaranteed to receive a massage from her
if you were around her at family events. Through these selfless acts, Jamie expressed her deep
love for those around her.
Her faith and love for the Lord always followed Jamie in her daily life and conversations that she
had with family and friends. She followed in the footsteps of her mom as a faithful servant,
always sharing His light with those around her. She followed the Lord throughout her journey,
and her faith only grew stronger, shining brightest when the Lord decided to call her home.
Jamie will be remembered for her generous heart, her kind spirit, and her loyal faith. Though her
family and friends will truly miss her, they find comfort in knowing she is rejoicing in heaven with
her mother. She will forever be loved on this side of eternity.
