James Max Davis, our beloved husband, father & grandfather passed away peacefully in his home on January 4, 2023. He was 90 years old.

Max was born November 3, 1932 to John & Nannie Davis in Prosper, TX. He was the middle child of three. He is preceded in death by his sister, Johnnie Peabody in 1980. And later his brother Bill Davis.

He was a Veteran in the Airforce and served in the Korean War. He loved his country and was proud to be a Texan. Max loved his motorcycles. Especially his Honda Gold Wing he acquired after he retired from his 36 year career at TI.

He married the love of his life, Brenda Martin in August 1977. They were married for 45 years. They were each other's everything.

He is survived by his loving wife and caretaker Brenda Davis. His daughter Kim Doumen and husband Chris. His son James Martin and wife Denise. His nephews Jimmy & Danny Peabody (whom favor  their  uncle tremendously). His nieces Patti Pickett & Didi Berry.

The highlights of his life were his two granddaughters, Lily Doumen & Jamie Martin. His world lit up when they were around.

He may be gone from our sight, but he will never leave our hearts.
