James Daniel Lambert, Sr. of Garland, Texas went to be with his Lord on December 29, 2024 in Dallas, Texas. He was born in Dallas, Texas on February 16, 1941 to proud parents Olga Mora and Joe Lambert.

He received a Masters degree in Bible from Bob Jones University and Pastored Churches in Alabama, Florida, Illinois and Dallas.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley, of sixty years; eight children, James, wife Georgia and eight children; Joy, husband Steve and seven children; Juanita, husband Tony and ten children; Julie, husband Randall and nine children; Jolene, husband Todd and five children; Jeanette, husband Mark and one child; Jennifer and Jeremiah; forty three grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren; and siblings, Isabel, Joe and Olga.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Olga and Joe Lambert; son, Joseph; and granddaughter Joanna.

James' Funeral services will be held at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Wylie, Texas on January 4, 2025 at 2:00 PM with a Visitation the night before from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Williams Funeral Directors. A graveside service will be held after the Funeral at Garland Memorial Park, in Garland, Texas.
